Bemused by the narrative of narcissism so pervasive in social media culture, I employ the iterative process of cross-stitch to make art that parallels, dissects, and explicates influencer culture, the pursuit of social currency, and its generational impact on our culture as a whole. Additionally, this series challenges the relationship between time invested and meaningful output.
